"Eulalia: A Bedtime Story" at FringeNYC, written and performed by Sarah Cuneo '15 and directed by Brad Wilson '13
"Eulalia: A Bedtime Story"", a one-woman show adapted from the writings of the Infanta Eulalia of Spain, will have its world premiere at the New York International Fringe Festival this October. Written and performed by Sarah Cuneo ’15 and directed by Brad Wilson ‘13, Eulalia: A Bedtime Story will run for five performances, October 12-22.
What if moving forward meant losing what you love? Using toys, humor, and fairytale tropes, ""Eulalia: A Bedtime Story"" tells the tragic, true story of a Spanish princess’ struggle for freedom. Life isn’t a fairytale, and sometimes the princess has to save herself.
""Eulalia: A Bedtime Story"" is a play about motherhood, authenticity, and sacrifice. Above all, it's a play about a woman: a real woman who lived, suffered, and fought fiercely for joy. Eulalia was
a brilliant mind many decades ahead of her time, but her story has been all but lost to history. Come get to know Eulalia – we really think you'll like her.
