Join Us for ArtsXFest Wintersession: January 17, 2025
We are thrilled to invite you to ArtsXFest, a dynamic, interactive event exploring the transformative intersections between the arts and other fields.
Date: January 17, 2025
Time: Panels will take place throughout the day from 10am - 3pm
Location: McCarter Theatre Center (91 University Pl, Princeton, NJ 08540)
In this day-long symposium, you will:
Ask questions in hands-on panel discussions;
Network with art professionals, practitioners, and potential collaborators;
Engage and deepen your relationship with the Princeton arts community;
Develop an action plan for nurturing arts intersections with other fields to create a more resilient arts landscape and more equitable, vibrant, healthy communities.
Sessions featuring professors, alumni, thought leaders, and innovators across disciplines will focus on the intersections of Arts X Education; Arts X Climate; Arts X Technology; Arts X Policy; Arts X Health. Current campus partners include McCarter Theater and GRADFutures; we are in conversation also with CreativeX, Department of Music, Princeton Neuroscience Institute, the Humanities Initiative, and others.
This special gathering will be hosted by Princeton Arts Alumni (PA2) at McCarter Theatre, our ArtsXFest co-hosts, as part of Princeton University's Wintersession, taking place on January 17, 2025, from 10 AM to 3 PM ET, at the McCarter Theatre Center (91 University Pl, Princeton, NJ 08540).

Princeton Arts Alumni (PA2) is marking our first 10 years with an alumni-led arts festival called ArtsXFest.
ArtsXFest is a year-long series of discussions exploring crossroads between the arts and other fields. Centered around the phrase “where art and ______ intersect,” each event will be hosted by partners and alumni (which could mean you!), taking place in person and online.
Bringing together varied perspectives, ArtsXFest aims to illuminate the impact, power, and ubiquity of the arts in shaping our society.

The X in “ArtsXFest” represents both the Roman numeral for 10 (for our 10th anniversary) as well as an ‘intersection’ between the arts and these other aspects of our everyday lives. Categories include:

These events will happen nationally at various locations, both online and in-person, and will allow the PA2 community to showcase events in their own hometowns — and some, in their own backyards.
The arts have a profound impact on our world. Where art intersects issues, disciplines, industries, and our daily reality, it has the power to be a mechanism for change in our society. Let us discuss, engage, and innovate together in articulating and magnifying the impact of the arts on humanity.
