Please join Amuse Singers on May 10th at 1 PM in NYC for HUMAN/NATURE, our spring choral program reflecting on a dialogue between humanity and the earth and nature's response, which despite all odds, always allows for hope.
The heart of the program is Don MacDonald's Fire Flowers, a 7-movement song cycle that sets the work of Emily Pauline Johnson, or Tekahionwake, Canadian poet of the Mohawk Nation. We'll also sing works by Amy Beach, Johannes Brahms, Theodore Morrison, and Alberto Grau.
Tickets $30 at the door / $25 advance sale: https://bit.ly/Amuse-Singers-HumanNature
