Oriana Poindexter '11 has a new solo show, presented by The Friends of La Jolla Library. 'Ode to the Blue Forest' is a collection of twenty original cyanotypes made with fragments of kelp and seaweed collected from La Jolla's own blue forest, just offshore. These camera-less photographs display the wisdom and beauty inherent in nature, and inspire contemplation of the evolving relationship humans maintain with the ocean.
