Book lovers of all ages are invited to participate in the playful, immersive experience of READ ME A WORLD -- a collection of interactive activities and artist-designed, temporary outdoor reading nook installations that inspire the intimate, connective joy of reading aloud with loved ones.
The Exuberance (Creative Director Marisol Soledad) has collaborated with local visual artists, performers, literacy experts, and read aloud advocates to curate this celebration of the imaginative act of creating worlds together using illustrations, text, play, curiosity, and the power of the expressive human voice. A cohort of magical Facilibrarians welcomes you to this peaceful and lively book party in the uniquely transformed Liberty Lands Park.
All families and friends are invited to participate in READ ME A WORLD free of charge! Reservations are encouraged and donations enthusiastically accepted.
Read Me A World is a curated Panel Pick in the Cannonball Festival’s inaugural Performance for Young Audiences Cohort, and is supported, in part, by the Office of Arts, Culture, and the Creative Economy and by the Stockton Rush Bartol Foundation and the Marrazzo Family Foundation. The event is presented for free to all audiences.
