Actor Robert David Grant '08 will appear in the world premiere production of Emily Mann's The Pianist at George Street Playhouse this September and October. In a new adaptation for the stage, The Pianist is Wladyslaw Szpilman’s harrowing account of the annihilation of Jewish life in Warsaw during World War II and his remarkable survival through the transcendent power of music. Grant joins a cast led by Tony nominee Austin Pendleton, Ukrainian actor Daniel Donskoy and Broadway veteran Tina Benko.
