DanielRose Projects (Sarah Rose '14 and Ross Daniel) returns to SMUSH Gallery with "four shores," a performance installation evoking a bustling metropolis surrounded by bodies of water, now informed by the social separation of the pandemic. The dancers of DRP perform in two hour loops behind the glass of the storefront window while the audience watches from the sidewalk. With research beginning at SMUSH in July 2018, "four shores" juxtaposes close proximity and separation - inescapable themes during the time of COVID.
