Bio:
Jessica Bailey plays a central role in supporting the work of nearly 60 registered student arts organizations, as well as individual student artists using ODUS-managed resources. As the inaugural Arts Program Coordinator, she serves as the primary administrative point of contact for all activity, from group and individual students in the video production studio, recording studio, and digital editing suite to produce artistic work on campus. In addition to developing and implementing policies for these facilities, she hires and supervises student staff working in these spaces. Jessica also works collaboratively with colleagues across campus, serving as a conduit between student arts organizations and various University departments, including the Lewis Center for the Arts, Music Department, McCarter Theater, and Event and Venue Support Services.
Jessica hails from the Windy City, and while she has enjoyed visiting many wonderful places on the east coast, there is nothing like sweet home Chicago. Jessica graduated from Princeton in 2019 with an A.B. in Sociology and certificates in African American Studies and Musical Theater. While a student, Jessica was an active member of BodyHype Dance Company, the Princeton University Players, Chapel Choir, Dorobucci, and the Theater Program. During the summer of 2019, she spent her time working at the Princeton University Art Museum as a Museum Voices intern. Her interest in the arts is wide-ranging and expansive, covering multiple disciplines and styles.
