Katie Dubbs is an arts entrepreneur. She is the founder of SIGN & SING, a nonprofit that integrates classical vocal music and American Sign Language. Katie directs performances in New York City, including at Lincoln Center, and writes for Opera News.

Bio

Katie Dubbs is an arts advocate and entrepreneur. She is the founder of SIGN & SING, a nonprofit performance program that integrates classical vocal music and American Sign Language (ASL) for Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and Hearing audiences. Katie directs performances in New York City, including at Lincoln Center, and writes for Opera News. As an educator, she has given lectures and taught workshops at Princeton University, The New School, New York University, and Gallaudet University. Katie is currently a graduate student at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where she is the recipient of the Ida M. Green Fellowship and the School of Architecture + Planning Merit Fellowship.
