Bio
Whitney Mosery is a director, dramaturg and creative consultant from Brooklyn. She was the first American to graduate from RADA's MA in Theatre Directing, and the first Director in Residence at the Almeida. Her specialty is new plays and musicals that deal with dark themes with intelligence and wit. She also directs her own reworkings of classics, like the ritual/bonfire/danceparty BACCHANALIA that toured the US, UK, and Greece. Whitney’s Broadway Associate Director credits include Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, American Psycho, and King Charles III (also Co-Director of International Tour). Most recently, she was the dramaturg for Cirque du Soleil’s Under the Same Sky. Guest lecturer at NYU, RADA and Princeton. BA in Classics from Princeton. www.whitneymosery.com
