Animated Music Video by Blanker (John Norwood, '06)

Blanker is a one-man DIY project, with John Norwood ('06) handling all vocals, instrumentation, and production. Given the impact of the pandemic, Blanker's latest album, Scare City, was entirely written and recorded out of Norwood's 1 BR Brooklyn apartment. As a result, the album is somewhat unrefined, but makes up for its lack of polish with heart and creativity.
Blanker developed a music video for the album's lead single, "Lightpost," in conjunction with d.billy (dbilly.com), an artist and graphic designer. Neither of them had made this type of video content previously, so it was quite the learning experience. They're both super happy with how it came out, though. Enjoy!
