Chelsea Music Festival - June 25-26, 2021 - Weaving the Moment

We are thrilled to announce our 2021 virtual Festival, titled Weaving the Moment this June 25th & 26th, which includes an exclusive weekend of concerts, conversation, and culinary excitement through brand new recordings and talks with musicians, artists, chefs, and Artistic Directors Melinda Lee Masur and Ken-David Masur.

Highlights include a World Premiere of “Just a Moment” commissioned by the Festival and Dr. Michael Sporn, written by composer Eric Nathan, and dedicated to and performed by oboists Amanda Hardy and John Ferrillo, performances by violinist Augustin Hadelich and pianist Orion Weiss, and two works by Spanish composer Anton Garica Abril featuring violist Jesus Rodolfo and pianist Reed Tetzloff. Attendees will also enjoy an inside-the-studio look at the work and practice of photographic fiber-based artist Kyle Meyer and enjoy a live culinary demonstration with Chef Eric Takahashi!

June 26th starting in the afternoon with a culinary demonstration on Zoom and followed by a concert and additional video clips on YouTube.
