Do you have what it takes to be 'popular'? Podcast Launch from William Keiser'19!

William Keiser '19 is excited to announce a new narrative podcast about "social stratification, middle school bulls**t, and the secret world of queer DC." From The Gay & Lesbian Review and producer haus of bambi comes 'popular', a three-part romp through the the iconic bars, circuit parties, gayborhoods, and queer kickball leagues of the District of Columbia.

Over the episodes, host William Keiser (Queers & Careers, My 600 Lb Life) tries to answer this question: is there an unspoken hierarchy in the LGBTQ community, and, if so, who gets to be on top?

With special guests like Andrew Holleran, author of seminal novel of pre-AIDS gay New York Dancer from the Dance, and Reverend Brandan Robertson, one of the United States’ leading queer, progressive Christian ministers, Popular is a romp through the most powerful city on Earth as you’ve never seen (heard) it before.
