Al aka “Mifflin” Lowe’s picture book, DAD. THE MAN. THE MYTH THE LEGEND, was just published in Turkish, (cover seen here), in addition to Polish, Portuguese, French, Spanish, Italian and English. It was originally on the cover of Publisher’s Weekly. Altogether, Lowe has had 14 books published including FORGOTTEN FOUNDERS about women and POC in the American Revolution - which was selected as a Gold Award winner by the Junior Library Guild and picked by McGraw Hill for its literacy program and THE TRUE WEST about diversity on the American Frontier — which was recommended by the Children's Book Council as a notable social studies book.
