Youth Performing Arts School in Louisville KY is hiring!

The Youth Performing Arts School (Louisville, KY), a nationally recognized performing arts high school, is searching for a full-time TD/Teacher/Designer.

Duties include: teaching core technical classes in Stagecraft, Design, Scenic Painting, and Drafting (Vectorworks); designing and implementing scenery for four major drama, musical, and/or dance productions; organizing and supervising crews of student carpenters; maintaining equipment for two well-equipped theaters, and scene shop. 

Minimum qualifications: BA in Technical Theatre and/or Technical Direction (BFA preferred. MFA suggested) plus ability to retain a K-12 teaching certificate in KY.

Base Salary Range: $44K-$56k (depending on experience and education) plus annual increase, full benefit package, and retirement.
